Report a Bug

We are replacing Stenovate’s existing chat system with a newly built messaging experience in V3. This post consolidates previously reported chat and messaging issues associated with the current version of Stenovate. Before V3 launches, we will test the new messaging system against the issues reported here—including message delivery, notifications, attachments, and access to messaging—to confirm they are no longer present. Once that testing is complete, this post will be marked resolved. Any messaging issue experienced in V3 should then be submitted as a new bug report so it can be investigated against the new system.

I updated the rate after talking with the court reporter and now I can not get to the job at all. It keeps flashing.

It won't let me verify my identity. I see the button but it is sort of grayed out. I don't know if this is because I clicked on it once before to start the process and didn't complete the verification because I didn't have my ID on me at the time, or if this is a random fluke.

I am unable to post in the scoping job board, but it is giving me the option to post availability in the proofreading job board.

many times when I try to list the agency and it's a new-to-me agency, it does not give me the option to add the agency.

I am receiving four notifications on Stenovate and four emails each time a job is posted in the proofreading job board. It looks like all of my notifications are set up this way, but I'm unable to change it in my settings.

I have sent emails and messages to Support with no resolution.

says it'll show up in your inbox in 10 minutes after completing it, but it's been almost two hours. Even checked my spam folder. Nothing. Does that feature just not work anymore? Do I just need to make my own Preference Sheet?

This weekend, it's super difficult to leave comments in the workspace area. After typing whatever out, a pop-up happens asking if I want to wait for the page to finish loading or cancel. Takes two tries of hitting "wait" button for comment to post. Makes it near impossible to communicate within the workspace. Happening on reporter end and scopist end.

If you're typing a long comment in the workspace area, the emoji icon blocks the area where you're typing and you can't see what you're typing.
