Feature Requests

Currently, handling W-9 forms is done on a person-to-person basis, which can be cumbersome and insecure due to the sensitive information involved, such as Social Security numbers. It would be beneficial to have a feature within Stenovate that allows users to upload and manage W-9 forms securely. This would streamline the process and provide a centralized, secure method for verifying legitimate businesses and professionals, especially for those working with U.S. residents.

The ability for scopists, transcriptionists, and proofreaders to automatically invoice reporters.

We can drag and drop files from desktop into Stenovate, but it would be useful to drag and drop files from one transcript to another if it were uploaded to the wrong location or needed to be moved.

I wish the job boards could have a field by the title stating which software. Then I wouldn't have to read through all the jobs looking for what software is mentioned, if any. Example: StenoCAT or Eclipse Version 12.

When a reporter updates a deadline, an email sent to all teammates on the workspace notifying them of the change would be most helpful.

I recently finished filling out my profile, adding a photo, and uploading my rate sheet. However, I may delete my rate sheet because anyone can look at my rate sheet, including other proofreaders. I want my rates to be private and accessible to potential clients only.

It would be nice if there was an automatic notification sent to my proofer when I change the due date after it's been accepted by my proofer.

Messages can be typed and sent beyond the character limit. Please add character limit enforcement and/or a warning before sending oversized messages.
