Reduce excessive email notifications for minor platform activity

Myself and a veteran reporter I know on here would like to request more control over email notifications in Stenovate. Right now, the platform sends an email for every small action, including things like confirming or updating a spelling, downloading/uploading files. That level of notification is excessive and creates unnecessary inbox clutter. If there is a way to minimize it, that would be wonderful; or maybe opt in/opt out of notifications. Maybe there already is such a feature I am unaware of?

Including an option to receive updates less often (i.e. once a day/week) or the ability to turn off notifications for certain workspaces would be nice.
(P.S. Denise, you can turn off notifications in Settings > Account tab > Notifications.)
